DRINKOTEC integrates card payment into its beverage dispensing systems

A 100% self-service integrated solution

In increasing demand for several years, the trend towards self-service has taken off again due to the current pandemic context. Thanks to a partnership with Be-Cash, a company specialising in payment solutions, DRINKOTEC is inaugurating its first 100% self-service beverage systems, including the final payment of the consumer, thus reducing any interaction with a waiter.

Restaurants, hotels and event organisers can now respond to the growing demand of their customers to be served quickly, as they appreciate the time and autonomy offered by these new technologies. All the more so as the solution makes it possible to limit contact between people and thus comply with the health measures in force.

Be-Cash and DRINKOTEC worked hand in hand to quickly come up with a reliable and secure solution. This partnership has gone through an initial development phase with the provision of the equipment. DRINKOTEC’s R&D team was able to use the resources of the myPOS developer portal to interface the payment terminals with DRINKOTEC’s beverage dispenser programme for optimum results.

Thanks to this integration, the end customer benefits from an improved user experience from start to finish, giving them significant flexibility in the way they wish to regulate their consumption. No more long queues at the corner of a bar to get served, now the customer decides when to satisfy their thirst. This approach has the double advantage of increasing the retailer’s turnover while reducing waste (thanks to the integrated technology developed by DRINKOTEC). In other words, “More value, less waste”, according to the slogan that defines DRINKOTEC’s vision.
